Troxel vs. Granville

Troxel vs. Granville is a supreme court decision from 2000 that reaffirms parents constitutional rights when it comes to the care and conrol of their children. I think my favorite passage from this decision is this one:

I came across this interesting link to a site also fighting for CFS/CPS/HHS reform. I haven't had time to go through it all, but there is some good info on there. One link from this site that I found particularly interesting about how to fight back in your state. Seems like a lot of potentially very useful info!

NY Lawyer barred from seeing children

AP Story about Primoff

I'm not saying I come close to condoning what NY lawyer Primoff did by ordering her kids out of the car and driving off, but I'm sure we are all familiar with the response from the state - barring her from seeing her children. Condemn her actions and get her help, but barring her from seeing her children is simply abuse of power, in my opinion.
